Mirye Software announces the release of SILKYPIX Developer Studio Pro11, the professional RAW photography software for macOS and Windows.

Beaverton, OR. SILKYPIX series of photography products helps you improve your photos with complete control over color balance, exposure bias, high dynamic range and more and supports over 690 camera models. Unlike other photography software, SILKYPIX DS Pro11 is licensed, and each license can be used on up to three computers in any combination of macOS or Windows computers.

New features of SILKYPIX Developer Studio Pro 11

  • Clearview Demosaic Processing.  Since its first release in 2004, SILKYPIX gains a major update to its demosaic processing technology. As a result, Clearview is applied from the moment you open your image, and the result exposes even greater detail. Clearview is an enhancement technology, but if you would like to use the demosaic processing of SILKYPIX 10, just select the Standard option.
  • Super Resolution Synthesis (PRO). Patented processing produces results based on half pixels enabling even greater detail. Using patented image matching point resolution technology(Patent No. 4689758) for compositing, Super Resolution Synthesis processes based on a half pixel level, resulting in an end result equivalent to 1.5 or 2 times resolution. Because the end result results in a greater number of pixels, the result looks great, even if you print or trim your image. This process is limited to images of specific size. See our website for details.
  • Multiple Exposure (Moving Object) (PRO). Composite multiple images with moving objects but retain only the first, selected moving object. Compositing multiple images with moving objects generally results in the inclusion of all or no moving objects. In the new compositing function Multiple Exposure (Moving Object), only the first, representative object is retained in the final image.
  • AppleProRAW Semantic Mask Support (PRO). Support for area-based corrections introduced to DNG support in AppleProRAW. The RAW photo format DNG version 1.6 updated the specification to identify area based information which is included in AppleProRAW. AppleProRAW was introduced with the iPhone 12 Pro and the 12 Pro Max, and utilizes Apple’s A14 Bionic neural engine. It allows identification of objects using masks such as Portrait, Skin and Sky.
  • Color Conversion within a Fine Color Gamut. The fine Color Controller divides colors into 8 hues and provides a function for adjusting colors in each of the hues. The addition of a Detail Mode allows for better precision in selecting and converting colors. You can select all instances of a color and change it to an entirely different color. You can also make bold adjustments beyond the original hue, for example, by changing a blue sky to a sunset sky.
  • Corrective Brush Removal of Unwanted Objects (PRO). Removing undesired objects is faster and easier and produces better results with the Corrective Brush. The Corrective brush allows you to remove unwanted objects from the image by tracing them with it. Specify the area you want to erase, and then erase unwanted items to reflect another area in the image. A Copy mode copies designated areas over a target area. Repair mode reflects the color of the surrounding area of the target area.
  • Partial Correction Tool Clarity Adjustment (PRO). Clarity Adjustment is now available as a part of the Partial Correction Tool. In SILKYPIX DS Pro10, adjusting Clarity was applicable only on an entire image. Now you can apply it specified areas instead of the entire image.
  • Partial Correction Tool Sharpen Adjustment (PRO). Sharpen Adjustment is now available as a part of the Partial Correction Tool. In SILKYPIX DS Pro10, adjusting Sharpness was applicable only on an entire image. Now you can apply it specified areas instead of the entire image.
  • Tone Tool White Level Adjustment. White level adjustment is now easier from within the Tone Tool. Previously, adjusting the brightest part of an image was accomplished only by adjusting Tone Curves. Adds a new White Level slider for easy adjustment. The White level allows you to increase the maximum value of the bright areas of the image and brighten the darkened highlights to make the image look clearer. This function allows you to adjust the contrast more finely in conjunction with the conventional Black level slider.
  • Auto Area Specification Tool (PRO).  Auto White Balance can now work with light sources from a selected area rather than the entire image. Auto White Balance tools typically adjust for averages of all light sources in a entire image. Even if there are multiple light sources detected in an image, you can now select an area within the image use the Auto Area Specification Tool to select only the light sources within the selected area.
  • Auto-Import and File Name Management (PRO). Automatically detect attached storage media and optionally auto-import, sort and rename images. When a media source is connected to the computer, a setting dialog box will pop up regarding storage locations and file names. If you have more than one camera or multiple ways in which to store photos, SILKYPIX has a solution for sorting out problems with file and folder names. Import from media also includes batch folder sort and rename features, so you can sort folders and convert file names based on conditions such as recording date and time and recording information. Automatically detects the connection of attached storage, including USB media and prompt you to generate thumbnails.
  • Thumbnail Filtering, Improved Search. Sort by thumbnails and search based on user based or photo feature criteria. In addition to searching for five-star ratings and user marks, you can also search for photos based on focal length, aperture value (Av), time value (Tv), ISO speed, date, and file extension of the image.
  • Film simulation / photo style application when shooting with FUJIFILM / Panasonic cameras.Selected support for Fujifilm Film Simulation and Panasonic Photo Style. SILKYPIX supports displaying photos taken using selected equipment maker simulation or style systems by default. Support depends on the specific camera model. See the website for details.
