On computers with NVIDIA® 3D Vision™ compatible video cards such as GeForce series and a 3D monitor, then you can view Shade and Google SketchUp models using the stereoscopic features of the NVIDIA 3D Vision technology.

NVIDIA® 3D Vision™ technology is a combination of Graphics Processor Units (GPU), specialized 3D glasses, software, and certified displays and projectors that deliver an immersive 3D experience on your PC or workstation.

Shade 3D Browser User Experience

Shade 3D Browser is easy to use. Use the Shade 3D Browser legend to make the most of this utility.

  1. A: Move the object in 3D space (shortcut key: T)
  2. B: Rotate the object in 3D space (shortcut key: R)
  3. C: Scale the object in 3D space (shortcut key: S)
  4. D: Auto Rotation checkbox (shortcut key: A)
  5. E: Reset the camera in the scene
  6. F: Change the background color (shortcut key: 1 ~ 6)
  7. G: Show/Hide the center panel (shortcut key: C)
  8. H: Show/Hide the left panel (shortcut key: L)
  9. I: Click the logo and jump to Shade 3D official web site for more information
  10. J: Show a list of file for open. Preset tab provides several preset sample files. Click "Open" or double-click on the list to open the open. Favorite tab provides you to add your favorite files into the list by using the "Add favorite model" button.
  11. K: To show the selected file help information
  12. L: Click this "Help" button to show a help information window (shortcut key: H)
  13. M: Application quit  (shortcut key: ESC)
