Control Your Work Space

With Shade you can set up and save your work space as easily as rearranging your desk space. Show, hide, resize all four viewports - set them to any of eight standard views or any camera. Show or hide backgrounds and master images, preview environment mapping, specular and surface values - and set them individually for each viewport. When you are happy, save it all as a named Work Space that you can reload at any time.

Choose How You Work

Don't let your tools get in the way of your work. New control tools including 3D Manipulator lets you switch between editing modes and move, scale or rotate any object interactively and immediately - in any view.

Turn on advanced system snap to make it easier to align objects relative to each other. Set up custom work planes to control how your 3D cursor moves - in global and local coordinates.
