You will find a post to the official Revolution mailing list detailing the reasons for Mirye, but in simplified form its all about the customer and reaching out to new customers - it is the "future vision" of the cross-platform development market.
Mirye is the official publisher of Runtime Revolution for North America and Japan. However, if you live in one of these regions you can still purchase directly from the Runtime Revolution website, through Runtime Revolution's home office in Edinburgh, Scotland - such purchases will be fulfilled directly by Runtime Revolution. Mirye will not be able to assist you with customer service on shipping, tracking or license inquiries.
If you purchase directly from Runtime Revolution Ltd, you can still upgrade or participate in special offers through Mirye or Mirye partners (unless otherwise posted in the special offer). A request to participate authorizes Runtime Revolution and Mirye to share your customer information to confirm your right to participate.
